JOEY NESDAHL FOR NORTH DAKOTA

BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in Minot and live here now with my wife of 16 years and our two children. I have worked in the field of public education for 15 years, the past 10 as a special education teacher. I am an active member of this community, volunteering to coach Lego Robotics, elementary basketball, sing and participate in a local's men's chorus, act in summer theatre, and engage in numerous arts events with our family-owned Ice Cream Truck, The Scoop.

I am incredibly grateful to this community and the wonderful people in it. I have a meaningful job, wonderful family, great friends and family, and financial security. Because of that, I also desire for others to have the same opportunities and quality-of-life measures that I have.

The main pillars of my campaign will be to address adequate access to health care and fair prescription drug prices, childcare assistance for families and providers, strong support for public education and the separation of church and state, environmental stewardship and sustainability, and equitable taxes.
